Living Faith, Doing Justice.
Lacuna means 'space' or 'gap'. Lacuna at Macquarie is a 'Space for God'.
We are a Christian group on campus living faith and doing justice. Our meetings are held every Wednesday from 12-2pm in the Chaplaincy building - below the National Bank and SAM building - look for the 'Lacuna' signs to find the meeting room.
Lacuna's main activity is a weekly meeting. These are informal gatherings where we discuss what’s relevant to the topic of the week. Sometimes a member of Lacuna or a guest speaker will present to us, other weeks we’ll begin or continue a study on a book or passage of the bible that we’ve agreed to unpack together.
Note that whatever your background or area of study, you’re contribution is very welcome. Come along! Bring your lunch, your hopes, your brain and a willingness to participate in a spirit of sharing.
If you're interested in regularly coming along to any of our meetings or staying in touch with what we're up to, you can use the online version of our sign-up form.
Or, if you'd only like to get an occasional news email, you can add your details here:
