Christian Students Uniting is not a safe Christian ghetto where we dream of heaven and pat ourselves on the back for being saved. But we are Christian, and proudly and controversially determined to follow Jesus.

We are committed to asking real questions, and trying to find answers that make sense in the modern world. We are serious about justice in the here-and-now, not just pious sentimentalism.

We are committed to growing, individually and as a community, to accepting each other with all our flaws and faults, and to being a witness to the way of Jesus Christ.

Our time together is about faith, fun, biblical scholarship, spirituality, action and friendship.

Together, we study the Bible, pray, ask questions and seek to grow in our understanding of faith and our action for peace and justice in the world. We strive for both personal encounter with Jesus and the social transformation of the world. But what do we actually do?

• Bible studies - taking God's word seriously
• Going to the pub - hey, fellowship is important to us; regular catching up over a meal at a pub near uni
• Justice action - ranging from environmental projects to political protest
• Retreats and conferences - deepen your faith, have fun, meet up with thinking Christians from all over Australia
